It’s not really clear when 2014 eThekwini Living Legend, Jay Pather, has time to sleep! Already the Director of the Gordon Institute for Performing and Creative Arts, Artistic Director of Siwela Sonke Dance Theatre and curator of the Infecting the City Festival in Cape Town, Pather has now taken up the role of Director of Afrovibes. Primarily based in the Netherlands this arts festival sees both young pioneers and established talent in theatre, dance, music and design from Southern Africa visit a number of cities in Holland, and in the UK,  connecting young urban African artists with Dutch and English artists and audiences.
