Denis Hurley CentreIt’s taken years of planning, fundraising and determination, but the new Denis Hurley Centre is finally complete! 2014 eThekwini Living Legend, Paddy Kearney, was one of the people responsible for the new centre which houses a number of social programmes, including a feeding scheme, a medical clinic and a refugee programme aimed at providing support to displaced foreigners – a service that’s obviously much needed in Durban at the moment. The centre also offers the public access to a library and a multi-faith prayer room.
